Wushu

Wushu or Chinese martial offers a host of mental and physical benefits. It also teaches perseverance, mental focus and helps build confidence. Wushu evolved from various forms of combat into set exercises or sequences of movement to be performed singly, in pairs or in groups.

Wushu can be picked up at any age as it encompasses different styles. A child can develop essential psychomotor skills and discipline while older adults usually engage in styles with rich cultural and historical background for spiritual reasons. However, it is important to seek your doctor’s advice first before taking up wushu if you have health problems.

Kuen Culture , Singapore ’s first professional Wushu Sports Club, is conducting a Free Introductory Workshop with a briefing, simple hands-on for participants, self-defence tips and a demonstration.

Sunday, 28 Aug 05, 4.00pm – 6.00pm
