MOE Bowls Over the Competition

The Public Service Bowling Championship was held at Westwood Bowl at Club CSC @ Bukit Batok from 24 April 10 to 22 May 10. A total 214 teams from 32 government agencies gathered to battle for the top positions in the mixed, women and men’s Active Agers’ categories. Ministry of Education (MOE) emerged as the overall champion after coming in top in the mixed and women categories.
MOE team manager Ms Lim Fong Yee said the MOE teams were “delighted” with the results. She credited the teams for their strong team spirit and putting up a good fight despite facing strong competition from the other ministries. “Our team persevered, and the bowlers and supporters kept each other in high spirits,” she said. She added that the regular trainings at Planet Bowl at Club CSC @ Tessensohn helped the team members to bond and adapt to lane conditions better.
