WHAT’S NEW COMING YOUR WAY THIS CHRISTMAS

NEW LIFT & TOILETS RENOVATIONS

Good News! Commencing March 2010, the construction of a new lift (next to the Bowling Centre) serving all floors from the Basement 3 carpark to the rooftop will be built. All our toilets in the old block and swimming pool changing rooms will also be renovated.

The improvements will take about 8 months to complete and come Christmas, members will have a jolly good reason to celebrate and cheer. With the new lift, getting around to all the facilities will be more convenient. Nursing rooms will also be built for the convenience of mothers.

Business Continuity Plan During Renovations

A Business Continuity Plan is in place to ensure that the inconvenience caused to members using the Club facilities will be minimized.

# Outdoor Rock Climbing Wall
This will be closed and the surrounding premises will be boarded up.

# Alternate Access to Bowling Centre
The Bowling Centre will operate as usual.
The present accesses to the Bowling Centre will be closed and the surrounding area boarded up. Two temporary covered walkways leading to the Bowling Centre will be erected:

Access 1: From staircase 6 (near the locker area) leading through Tennis Court 1
Access 2: From bicycle park area (near carpark entrance) leading through Tennis Court 2

# Relocation of Bowling Pro-Shop
This will be relocated to the former Squash Court near Tennis Court 1 and the Jackpot Room

# Bowling Café
The café will be closed and drinks and snacks vending machines installed. For Corporate Functions and Tournaments, the usual buffet catering will still be available.

# Toilets & Swimming Pool Changing Room Renovations
Toilets & changing rooms will be renovated in phases. When the female changing room is being renovated, the ladies will use the male changing rooms and switch back when completed. Male members will be diverted to use the toilets located at the filtration plant room throughout the renovation period.

All other facilities at the Club, i.e. the Swimming Pool, Bowling Centre, Jackpot Room, Restaurant, Badminton/Tennis Courts, Gymnasium, Auditorium and Function Rooms will operate as usual during the period of the renovations.
With these improvements coming your way, we seek your understanding and patience on the expected inconvenience and disruption of services.
