Wine Tasting & Pairing Sessions

 

ENJOY savouring the taste of an exquisite wine? Or find wine as the perfect complement and companion to food? If so, this series of wine tasting and pairing sessions are for you. Tantalise your palate with fine-bodied wines and accompanying foods, or taste a delicate array of different wines!

 

Laksa & Wine Pairing

LAKSA, a hot and spicy dish, can be tough on wine as chilli-infused dishes tend to dampen the apparent fruitiness and sharpen the tannic edge in red wines. However, some wines can withstand the spiciness, such as Gewurztraminer. Its perfumed, spice and lychee character stays vibrantly refreshing with spicy food. In this session, taste 4 different wines (1 sparkling, 2 whites and 1 red) with laksa and learn about wine and spicy food pairing from Mr Jeffrey Soh of Tapestry Room.

All About Red Wines

IF you enjoy or want to try red wines, join this session to taste 7 varieties of red wines: Pinot Noir, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, Sangiovese, Tempranillo and Shiraz. Learn about each varietal’s typical aromas and flavour to enhance your appreciation of the wines, improve your palate and enjoy the wines’ true quality.

BARBEQUING is the quintessential outdoor activity at Changi Clubhouse, and best matched with fine wine to top off a pleasurable evening. Enjoy grilled seafood, chicken wings, hot dogs and a host of other food paired with carefully selected wines (sparkling, white and red) by the sea!

Dining Etiquette With 3-Course Western Meal

DINING etiquette can be essential in making an impression in all sorts of situations. In this workshop, learn all about the rules of table manners along with the etiquette of enjoying wines in formal and casual gatherings. Also covered are buffet etiquette and basic business communication etiquette.  This workshop includes a 3-course Western meal and 2 glasses of wines (one white and one red).
