Dear Members,
AFTER the
past few months of festivities and holidays, it is now time
to step up the pace of work and hit the gym to burn those
excess calories. As for the Club, some highlights over the
past months were the year end countdown party on 31 Dec, the
Chinese New Year Bazaar and Festive Draw on 24 Jan and the
Festive Marathons held from 15 to 16 Feb. We thank our
members for the tremendous support to make these events a
huge success.
In this
issue, I have included write-ups by the three Clubhouse
Managers, to enable members to know more about who they are.
They also share what they are doing to make their respective
Clubhouse, a better place for members and their guests.
Over the next
few years, the Club is committed to ploughing back more
revenue to enhance the value of membership and to upgrade
the quality of services and facilities offered to members
and their families. We plan to provide more family centered
facilities and activities for families to spend quality time
together at the Club.
This year
alone, the Club is investing about $4 million to add-on new
facilities and upgrade existing facilities at Tessensohn
Clubhouse. As Bukit Batok Clubhouse is fairly new, the focus
will be on providing more amenities for children and to
anchor another F & B outlet. A Thai restaurant, Southbank
Authentic Thai Restaurant will be operating by end April.
Changi Clubhouse will be upgraded to feature a modernised
gym, children’s outdoor playground and alfresco dining area
fronting the sea. These are the first steps towards
achieving our vision of Changi Clubhouse as a modern seaside
family resort and sports club. This is to complement the
development of Changi point. We hope these upgrading will
enhance the experience of our members.
Finally, I
would like to appeal to members for your support and
understanding for any inconvenience caused when Tessensohn
Clubhouse is undergoing renovation from Mar to Nov 2010. |
