Hand Applique

Hand appliqué is the method of applying fabric shapes (also known as patches) by hand, onto a background to produce a decorative pattern or block. Embroidery, buttons and lace are often added to complete the beautiful piece of work.  Sometimes the patch is stuffed before it is sewn in order to produce a 3D look.

You will work on a square piece of cloth, which can be framed or made into a cushion cover after the class. All materials for the class are included and Ms Shirley George will be your instructor.

Instructor Ms Shirley George is multi-talented and was trained in the various crafts when she was in America. She has years of experience teaching expatriates in Malaysia and Singapore.
