Help Your Child Overcome Computer Addiction

If your child spends excessive hours on the computer playing games or surfing the Internet, he or she may be addicted. Learn to recognise the signs and intervene before it is too late.

Speaker Alvin Poh will help you to identify the symptoms of computer addiction and warming signs of internet addiction. Learn about the types of computer games and Internet activities that pose a higher risk of addiction. If terms like MSN Messaging, blogging and online gaming appear foreign to you, this workshop is definitely essential for you to understand what your child might be doing with the computer. Alvin, a father of two, will also be offering tips to help your child overcome computer games and internet addiction.

Alvin is a trained facilitator with Focus On The Family, a non-profit international organisation focused on promoting healthy family living and strengthening the institution of family. Formerly a personal financial adviser and IT business consultant, Alvin now runs his own home internet business.
