Gel candles make lovely and practical gifts. Not only do they last much longer than traditional wax candles, they also emit a soft, glowing light as they burn.  The gel is a pleasure to work with as it melts easily, is fairly inexpensive and can be enhanced with colour, fragrance and a variety of decorative items.
