Things
are surely getting brighter and better at the Civil Service
Club.
The
new clubhouse taking shape prominently on the hilly terrain at
Bukit Batok, is drawing a lot of admiring glances, and barring
unforeseen circumstances, it should be ready by end of this
year. The second
phase of the upgrading works at Tessensohn Clubhouse will take
place this month and when the six-month project is completed
also by the year end, the Club will have a refreshingly classy
look complete with attractive textured boundary wall and lush
landscaping features, as well as an extended swimming pool deck
with jacuzzis, and an al-fresco dining area.
These additional features will raise the amenities to a
new high and will give members more reasons to enjoy their
membership.
We
take this opportunity to highlight in this month's newsletter
the various clubhouse facilities such as auditorium, ballroom,
function rooms, bowling centre, cookery studio and other
facilities which are built to meet the needs of members.
At the community level, most of our clubhouse facilities
are available for use by the general public.
Private organisations and the general public can book our
facilities to organise their functions and games.
For example, we are able to offer in bowling and cooking
services, a one-stop service whereby users can leave to us, the
hassle of planning and implementing events right down to the
choice of prizes and the selection of instructors. We
will continue to remain most active with an endless flow of
social and recreational activities to meet members' needs and
expectations.
If
you have not been an active player in the Club, give us an
