CHINESE IMMERSION PROGRAMME FOR STUDENTS

As a linguistic expert will tell you, there’s no better way to learn a language than to be completely immersed in it; to eat, sleep and breathe it, so to speak.

As children today become more and more exposed to English, the world’s language, some of them however are finding it difficult to speak their mother tongues.

CSC is pleased to present a new immersion programme for students to China, with the aim of creating awareness and interest in Chinese language and culture and encouraging cultural exchanges between children of both nations. It is also an opportunity for children to travel on an independent agenda, definitely an eye-opening experience.

9 Days Shanghai, Suzhou, Hangzhou and Nanjing

For students aged 11 to 17, this trip to the quintessential regions of China promotes new language and cultural understanding. Also known as "Gusu city", having the fame of "Oriental Venice", Suzhou was set up in BC 514 and is a city of nearly incomparable beauty. Hangzhou is one of the cradles of Chinese civilization famous for its historical and cultural heritage. Nanjing too is a historical and cultural treasure house, an ancient capital of the Chinese peoples.

Once There

Language Itinerary: 3 full days of Chinese lessons and cultural activities, including reading, writing, interaction with local students, calligraphy, painting, sports and home visits.
