Experience the dramatic diversity of China on this tour of cosmopolitan Shanghai, scenic Hangzhou and the quaintly historical Suzhou. Start your journey in the beautiful water-bound town of Zhouzhuang, with its fascinating labyrinth of waterways and Ming and Qing dwellings.

Suzhou, popularly known as the Venice of the East, has charming criss-crossed waterways and streets lined with houses and stone bridges. Take a trip to Tiger Hill, Hanshan Temple and the Net Master Garden.

In Hangzhou, visit Lingyin Temple (Temple of Soul's Retreat) and the Yue Fei Temple, the burial grounds for Yue Fei, an outstanding and patriotic hero of the Song Dynasty. Take in the idyllic beauty of the Scenic West Lake and stop at one of the lake's four islands, the Xiao Ying Zhou, for more sightseeing. You will have the opportunity to taste the famous Longjing Tea and learn about its history.

In Shanghai, a visit to the Song Qing Ling Gu Ju is on the itinerary. You will also visit Yu Yuan, also known as Chenghuang Temple, which has been transformed to a prosperous and bustling emporium after recent years of major reconstruction. Shopping at Nanjing Road is a must in Shanghai, after which you can walk to The Bund for photo-taking.

On this trip, you will enjoy the famous cuisines of each city such as Zhouzhuang’s Pork Trotters, Hangzhou’s Dong Po Lou and Jiao Hwa Ji as well as Shanghai’s Hong Liao Ji.
