An extremely portable musical companion, the chromatic harmonica also offers a wonderful range and full sound. It is easy to learn, even for those without any music background.
Instructor Benny Hong, with several years of performing and teaching experience, is a full-time harmonica instructor who teaches in schools, clubs and community clubs.
Harmonica Level 1
This beginners’ class focuses on basics such as correct positioning, reading of musical notes, as well as breathing and sitting posture. At the end, you will be able to play tunes such as “Ode To Joy”, “Rasa Sayang”, “Red River Valley” and many others.

Member $120, Public Officer/Guest $135 (Fee excludes course book costing $10 and harmonica. Participants can buy a China-made harmonica at $40 or a German-made mode at $135 from the instructor.)
Harmonica Level 2
In Level 2, you will learn more challenging songs, mostly pop and classical pieces.

Harmonica Level 3
In Level 3, you will learn to play songs with more complex rhythms, wider note ranges and faster tempos, such as “Stand By Me”, “Habanera” and “Always With Me”.
