Event Materials

CSC-LKYSPP Behavioural Economics Symposium 2018

Jointly organised by CSC and the LKY School of Public Policy, the 2018 Symposium featured keynote speakers Associate Professor Hal Hershfield (UCLA) and Professor Klaus Wertenbroch (INSEAD). Topics covered included how technology can be incorporated in behavioural applications to offer innovative and effective solutions, as well as the implications of predictive technology in consumer choice and public policy. Ms Hefen Wong from the Ministry of Manpower shared on the work of Co-Lab, a multi-disciplinary team that used a combination of behavioural insights, design thinking and data analytics to develop innovative policies.

3rd MSF-CSC Conference 2017

4th Behavioural Exchange Conference 2017

On 29–30 June 2017, Singapore hosted the 4th Behavioural Exchange conference (BX2017). BX is an annual conference that brings together leading academics, senior policymakers, and practitioners to discuss how behavioural insights can strengthen policy design and implementation. BX2017 was attended by over 400 participants from all over the world and was opened by Mr Peter Ong, Head of Singapore Civil Service
