A stinky fish stands for something that becomes worse the longer you keep it hidden. This introductory activity promotes openness for participants to share about their anxieties, fears and uncertainties related to your discussion topic. Participants will grow comfortable with each other while sharing and identity areas for learning and improvements together. Active Listening

Suggested duration: 60 minutes

 

This activity is suitable for all who are new to or familiar with the concept of active listening. In trios, participants take turns being the subject, the listener, and the observer to reflect on challenges and create their own solutions through peer coaching. At the end of this article, you will also find guiding questions to facilitate conversations to help your participants internalise the skill of active listening.

PowerPoint Karaoke

Suggested duration: 45-60 minutes

 

Put your participants’ improvisation skills to the test with PowerPoint Karaoke. In this game, they will present slides that they have never seen before in front of a live audience. Make sure that your slides are designed with more imagery and minimal words to allow more flexibility for improvisation. This is recommended for building communication skills and team bonding.
