Tan Ching Yee

Tan Ching Yee served for over 38 years in the Singapore Public Service before retiring on 1 May 2025. She has served in various appointments in the Ministries of Trade and Industry, Education, then-Information, Communications and the Arts, Health, Finance, and the Prime Minister’s Office. She represented Singapore as G20 Finance Deputy and Sherpa for nine years, advancing Singapore’s international interests at international and regional forums.
Mrs Tan contributed to policymaking and implementation in a variety of fields, including those in the intersection of economic and social policies. During COVID-19, she oversaw critical relief measures for families and businesses through the use of reserves.
In her various leadership roles, she has consistently emphasised people and leadership development, and the nurturing of a culture of excellence and teamwork. She continues to serve the public in her current roles in the Prime Minister's Office and the Energy Market Authority.
