Pang Kin Keong

Pang Kin Keong was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Home Affairs from 2017 to 2026.
Prior to this appointment, he was the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Transport from 2012 to 2017, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Law from 2010 to 2012, the Director of the Internal Security Department from 2004 to 2010, and the Principal Private Secretary to the Prime Minister from 2000 to 2004.
In the latter appointment, Mr Pang held a concurrent appointment as Deputy Secretary (Special Projects), Ministry of Trade and Industry (MTI), handling Singapore's then on-going FTA (Free Trade Agreement) negotiations with New Zealand and Japan.
Mr Pang had also previously served as Director (Trade) in MTI, as Press Secretary to the Deputy Prime Minister, and in the Public Service Division.
Mr Pang did his undergraduate studies in engineering in France, and holds a Master of Science in Management from the London Business School.
